Originally Moonglow were called Auld Spice and first sang together in public in October 1998, though we didn't actually have a name at that point ! The original line up was Nick - tenor, Jim - lead, Gerry - bass, and Andrew - baritone. All of us are members of the Rolling Hills Chorus from Edinburgh, Scotland

We had to change our name when we discovered there already was a well known ceilidh band called Auld Spice and at one of our concerts half the audience were expecting a bit of a knees up!

In September 2001 Gerry warned us that on account of his age this would be his last season with us and we began to look for a replacement and after a rigorous process of selection (!!!) Angus joined the quartet in 2002.
